American record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter Skrillex has released one studio album, seven extended plays, 44 singles (including nine as a featured artist), and 23 music videos. After departing the post-hardcore band From First to Last, he released his debut extended play, ''Gypsyhook'', on April 7, 2009, through Atlantic Records as Sonny Moore. He then began producing music under the pseudonym Skrillex, released a second extended play, '' My Name Is Skrillex'', as a free download from his Myspace page. Sonny John Moore (born January 15, 1988), known professionally as Skrillex, is an American DJ and music producer. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, he joined the post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band (''Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount'' [2004] and ''Heroine (From First to Last album), Heroine'' [2006]) before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007. He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. ''More Monsters and Sprites'' is the third EP and first remix album by American electronic music producer Skrillex. It was released exclusively on Beatport on June 7, 2011 through Big Beat Records and mau5trap Recordings, while being released on other online retailers on June 21, 2011. It is a follow-up to his previous EP, ''Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'', containing four additional remixes of the title track done by Dirtyphonics, Phonat, The Juggernauts and Kaskade, as well as three original tracks. The iTunes version also includes a music video of "Rock n' Roll (Will Take You to the Mountain)". Marco "Benny" Benassi (; born 13 July 1967) is an Italian DJ, record producer and remixer. He is widely seen as a pioneer of electro house, a genre brought into the mainstream by his 2002 summer club hit " Satisfaction".
