Skovshoved IF
Skovshoved Idrætsforening, or Skovshoved IF, is a Danish sports club. The football team is currently playing in the Danish 2nd Divisions. They play at Skovshoved Idrætspark (also referred to as ''Banen ved Krøyersvej'') in Klampenborg north of Copenhagen. Skovshoved IF's most prominent time was earning silver medals in the 1926–27 and 1952–53 seasons of the Danish football championship. The badminton team of SIF was three times national champion. Klampenborg
Klampenborg is a northern suburb to Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in Gentofte Municipality, directly on Øresund, between Taarbæk and Skovshoved. Like other neighbourhoods along the Øresund coast, Klampenborg is an affluent area with many large houses. Landmarks Klampenborg is known for a cluster of building projects by the Functionalist Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. These include Bellevue Beach, the Bellavista housing estate and the Bellevue Theatre, all completed between 1932–36 as some of the earliest Danish examples of Modernism. Klampenborg is the main gateway to the extensive Jægersborg Deer Park, one of the most popular green areas in greater Copenhagen, known for its large deer population, the Hermitage Royal Hunting Lodge and ancient oak trees. The 1928 Provinsmesterskabsturneringen i Fodbold (Unofficial English translation: ''1928 Provincial Football Championship Tournament'') was the 15th edition of the Danish provincial championship play-off, Provinsmesterskabsturneringen, the second highest senior cup competition, crowning the best provincial championship club of the five regional football associations outside the dominating Copenhagen football clubs, organised and financially supported by the national football organization Danish Football Association, Danish FA (DBU). The 1927–28 SBUs Mesterskabsrække was the 32nd season of the Zealand Series, Zealand Football Championship since its establishment in 1902 under the administration of Zealand Football Association, Sjællands Boldspil-Union (SBU), and the 1st season since the league was renamed from ''SBUs A-Række'' to the ''SBUs Mesterskabsrække''. The launch of the season began on 28 August 1927 and the final round of regular league fixtures were played on 20 May 1928 with the championship replays being held on 27 May and 3 June 1928 — including a 5 months long winter break between November and March. Skovshoved IF were the defending league champions from the 1926–27 SBUs A-Række, 1926–27 season.
