Skouriotissa Halt
Skouriotissa ( gr, Σκουριώτισσα) is a village in the Nicosia District of Cyprus and the site of the former Cyprus Mines Corporation, Skourotissa mines. Today the area is largely uninhabited with only 8 people remaining in the village. As of 2011 the village houses the headquarters of Sector 1 of the UNFICYP mission. Cyprus is divided into six districts ( gr, επαρχίες; tr, kaza), whose capitals share the same name. The districts are subdivided into municipalities and communities. The districts of Cyprus are listed in the table below. Note: Northern Cyprus-controlled lands are included in the area figures, but population was not enumerated there.
