Skiladiko
Skiladiko or Skyladiko , ( gr, Σκυλάδικο), is a derogatory term to describe a branch of laiko music and some of the current nightclubs in Greece in which this music is performed. It also refers to the so-called "decadent" form of laiko, and is derived from the Greek language, Greek for dog (σκύλος, ''skilos''), meaning "doggish" or "doghouse". The term was also used to refer to cheap or often unlicensed Greece, Greek night clubs with a usually shady reputation of Greek music on the outskirts of a Greek city or town. The typical arrangement in current skiladika establishments includes an elevated stage ("palco") where singers and musicians perform Greek songs, with the use of heavily amplified bouzouki, electric guitars and other Greek musical instruments, instruments. Anna Vissi ( el, Άννα Βίσση, , ; born 20 December 1957), is a Greek Cypriot singer and songwriter. She studied music at conservatories and performed locally before moving to the professional scene in Athens, in 1973, where she signed with Minos and simultaneously collaborated with other musical artists and released promotional singles of her own while studying at the University of Athens. Vasilis Karras
Vasilis Karras ( el, Βασίλης Καρράς; born Vasilis Kesoglidis on 12 November 1953) is a Greek folk singer. Biography Karras was born in Kokkinohori, near Kavala, Greece. At the age of 10, his family moved to Thessaloniki. Also around this time his brother Damian and his sister Anastasia were born. Kelly Kelekidou ( el, Κέλλυ Κελεκίδου, born 9 April 1978), sometimes referred to as Kel Kel, is a Greek singer. To date, she has released four studio albums and one CD Single which was certified Gold. Career Kelly Kelekidou originates from Kokkinohoma Kavala, Greece and Hamilo Kilkis. Shortly after graduating high school, she started studying business management and nursing, although she had not decided on a career.
