These two songs are both from their first popular album, ''Niks Is Zoas 't Lek (Nothing's the way it seems to be)''. The follow-up of this album, '''s Nachts (At night)'', produces the hits '''t Giet Zoas 't Giet (It goes the way it goes)'' and ''Af & Toe'' ''(Now & Then)''. The CD ''Overal & Nergens (Everywhere & Nowhere)'' meant a breaking of the ties with the Drèents, which resulted in a song in ABN (Broadcast Dutch). The Schizo's
The Schizo's are a Dutch punkrock band from Emmen. The band was formed in the mid-1980s, broke up, and reformed in the 2000s. History The band was formed around 1985 in Emmen; the members (Despo Kristel on bass, René Timmer, and Reinie Hummel) were all heavily influenced by the American rock-and-roll and especially the New York City punk rock scene with bands like The Ramones, Johnny Thunders and New York Dolls.Details from the TV-documentarOp zoek naar Bad Imagefrom July 2009 In spring of 1987 they each took out a personal loan and raised 20,000 Dutch guilders (about € 9100,-) and booked a week in the Ballad Sound recording studio near the town of Gorinchem. To keep costs down they lived in a trailer on the local campground and relied on volunteers to help them out. In a single week they recorded 11 tracks, and did the final mix at Jaap Brünner's studio to make a final mix. Since no record label showed any interest, they self-released 500 copies of the album. Coverband
A cover band (or covers band) is a band that plays songs recorded by someone else, sometimes mimicking the original as accurately as possible, and sometimes re-interpreting or changing the original. These remade songs are known as cover songs. New or unknown bands often find the format marketable for smaller venues, such as pubs, clubs or parks. The bands also perform at private events, for example, weddings and birthday parties, and may be known as a wedding band, party band, function band or band-for-hire. A band whose covers consist mainly of songs that were chart hits is often called a top 40 band. Some bands, however, start as cover bands, then grow to perform original material. For example, The Rolling Stones released three albums consisting primarily of covers and then recorded one with their own original material. Cover bands play several types of venues. When a band is starting out, they might play private parties and fundraisers, often for little or no money, or in retu ...

The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. Active for six decades, they are one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era. In the early 1960s, the Rolling Stones pioneered the gritty, rhythmically driven sound that came to define hard rock. Their first stable line-up consisted of vocalist Mick Jagger, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, guitarist Keith Richards, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts. During their formative years, Jones was the primary leader: he assembled the band, named it, and drove their sound and image. After Andrew Loog Oldham became the group's manager in 1963, he encouraged them to write their own songs. Jagger and Richards became the primary creative force behind the band, alienating Jones, who had developed a drug addiction that interfered with his ability to contribute meaningfully. Rooted in blues and early rock and roll, the Rolling Stones started out playing covers and were at the forefront ...
