Skeeter (film)
''Skeeter'' is a 1993 horror film starring Jim Youngs and Tracy Griffith and directed by Clark Brandon. The film was released in 1993, with the first video premiere being on April 6, 1994. It was panned by critics. The film was released on DVD as a stand-alone in the United States by Image Entertainment. It was also released in 2007 on DVD as the first film in the triple feature with the 1982 low-budget British science-fiction horror movie ''Xtro'' and its 1990 sequel '' Xtro II: The Second Encounter''. Plot Drake is a corrupt and greedy developer who is illegally dumping toxic waste into the mines around the small town of Clear Sky, causing mosquitoes to mutate into giant beasts that attack and kill anything, including humans. A lawman of the town sheriff, Roy Boone, and his reunited love Sarah Crosby, must put a stop to both the pollution and the bugs. Clark Brandon
Clark Brandon (born December 13, 1958) is an American actor. His most notable roles were as Max Merlin's apprentice Zachary Rogers in the CBS series ''Mr. Merlin'', as Chris Richards on ABC's "Out of the Blue," and as Sean Fitzpatrick, the older brother, in the CBS series ''The Fitzpatricks''. He also starred with Jim Varney in the 1989 comedy film, ''Fast Food Fast food is a type of mass-produced food designed for commercial resale, with a strong priority placed on speed of service. It is a commercial term, limited to food sold in a restaurant or store with frozen, preheated or precooked ingredien ...''. John Putch
John Putch (born July 27, 1961) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his recurring role as Bob Morton on the 1970s sitcom '' One Day at a Time'' and as Sean Brody in the film ''Jaws 3-D''. Life and career Putch was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He began his career as an actor at the age of five in summer theater company, The Totem Pole Playhouse, run by his father William H. Putch (1924–1983). He is the son of actress Jean Stapleton (1923–2013). After guest starring on his mother's series ''All in the Family'' (playing a Boy Scout in 1973 episode "Archie Is Branded"), he was remembered by producer Norman Lear who cast him in a recurring role as Bob Morton on the sitcom '' One Day at a Time'', appearing in 14 episodes from 1976–1983. Emanuel Levy
Emanuel Levy is an American film critic and professor who has taught at Columbia University, New School for Social Research, Wellesley College, Arizona State University and UCLA Film School. Levy currently teaches in the department of cinema studies at New York University. Emanuel Levy was born and grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel. After military service, he attended Tel Aviv University, where he obtained a B.A. degree in Sociology, Anthropology and Political Science. He pursued a M.Phil and Ph.D. (in distinction) in Sociology of the arts (focusing on film and theater) from Columbia University in 1975 and 1978, respectively. John Ingle
John Houston Ingle (May 7, 1928 – September 16, 2012) was an American actor best known for his roles as scheming patriarch Edward Quartermaine in the ABC soap opera ''General Hospital'' and Mr. Threehorn, the father of the main character Cera in the '' Land Before Time''. Career A retired school teacher, Ingle began mainstream acting in 1985 doing various guest appearances; one of his first cinema appearances was a performance of the song "Puzzling Evidence" in the 1986 David Byrne musical, '' True Stories'' (his recording of the song would not be released until 2018).
