Sjaak Troost
Jacob "Sjaak" Troost (born 28 August 1959) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Pernis, South Holland, Troost played his entire career with local Feyenoord, making his Eredivisie debut on 9 April 1978 in a 0–1 away loss against FC Volendam and becoming an undisputed starter from the 1981–82 season onwards. He appeared in 29 games in 1983–84 as the Rotterdam club won the league after a 10-year wait, scoring once in a 4–0 win at Fortuna Sittard as the campaign also ended with Dutch Cup conquest. Troost appeared in 397 official matches for Feyenoord, retiring in June 1992 at nearly 33. Later on, he became the club's commercial director. International career Troost earned four caps for the Dutch national team. Pernis, Netherlands
200px, Pernis in 1865. Pernis is a neighborhood and submunicipality (since 3 March 2010) of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The district has a population of 4,845 (2018) on a total area size of 1.60 km² (0.62 sq mi). Pernis is thus a full submunicipality of Rotterdam, but the former independent municipality had its own district council already. Although surrounded by ports, Pernis has preserved its village-like atmosphere very well. Pernis is best known for its petrochemical industry. Refineries define its skyline. Shell's sprawling complex located there is the largest oil refinery in Europe, and one of the largest in the world. Pernis was merged with 's-Gravenambacht in 1832. The Johan Cruyff Shield (, ) is a football trophy in the Netherlands named after Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff, also often referred to as the Dutch Super Cup. The winner is decided in one match only, played by the winner of the national football league, Eredivisie, and the winner of the national KNVB Cup. In the event of a team winning both the Eredivisie and the KNVB Cup, the Johan Cruyff Shield will be contested between that team and the runner up in the national league.
