Sixx A.M.
Sixx:A.M. was an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2007 by Nikki Sixx, DJ Ashba, and James Michael, and was a side project of Sixx, who was also at the time bass guitarist for Mötley Crüe. The group is best known for their songs "Life Is Beautiful (Sixx:A.M. song), Life Is Beautiful" and "Lies of the Beautiful People". The name Sixx:A.M. is a combination of all of the members' last names (Sixx, Ashba, Michael). To date, Sixx:A.M. have released five studio albums: ''The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack'' (2007), ''This Is Gonna Hurt'' (2011), ''Modern Vintage'' (2014) ''Prayers for the Damned'' and ''Prayers for the Blessed, Blessed'' (2016), and three EPs; ''X-Mas In Hell'' (2008); ''Live Is Beautiful'' (2008) and ''7 (Sixx:A.M. ''The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack'', often referred to as simply ''The Heroin Diaries'', is the debut studio album by Sixx:A.M., a side project of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx. The band also features lead vocalist James Michael and guitarist DJ Ashba. The concept album serves as the companion soundtrack to Sixx's autobiography, '' The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star'', and is about Sixx's severe heroin addiction in 1987. Buckcherry
Buckcherry is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1995. The band released two albums, ''Buckcherry'' (1999) and ''Time Bomb'' (2001), before dissolving in 2002. Buckcherry's first album ''Buckcherry'' was DreamWorks first album to go gold. In 2005, lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson reformed Buckcherry with a new lineup and released a new album in 2006, '' 15''. Crüe Fest
''Crüe Fest'' was a summer 2008 tour by Mötley Crüe, which commenced on July 1, 2008 and concluded on August 31, 2008. It featured Mötley Crüe themselves, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:A.M., and Trapt. ''Crüe Fest'' was said to be "the Loudest Show on Earth". The tour earned around $40 million and was the most successful, most popular festival of the summer. Origins The tour was formulated in January 2008 by Nikki Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was established to involve both bands of whom Sixx was then a member: Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M. ''Crüe Fest'' was born: a new touring festival of 'bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll' in the same vein as Ozzfest. Mötley's official website had promised a special announcement and, on April 15, 2008, the band hosted a press conference, where they announced the tour, premiered their " Saints of Los Angeles (song), Saints of Los Angeles" video, and performed "Kickstart My Heart" and "Saints of Los Angeles".

''Saints of Los Angeles'' is the ninth and final studio album by the American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, released on June 24, 2008.
