Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival. The Roskilde Festival was Denmark's first music-oriented festival created for hippies, and today covers more of the mainstream youth from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz (Ibrahim Kucukavci) and Branco (Benjamin Cimatu). The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. Benjamin Jacob Small Heyn-Johnsen (born 22 August 1993), also known as Benny Jamz or at times Höjer Øye is a Danish-Jamaican rapper and record producer. Oliver Chambuso (born 7 September 1992), known professionally as Kesi (), is a Danish rapper and songwriter. Kesi initially promoted himself through his own YouTube channel within the grime genre, also cooperating with others, notably Kidd and Gilli. In addition to his solo career, Kesi was a member of the hip hop group BOC (abbreviation for Bars of Crack or Bombs Over Copenhagen or Bombs Over Centrum), a Nørrebro-based group. Rijan Nabaz better known by his stage name Node (born 3 March 1990) is a Danish-Kurdish singer and rapper. He started in 2012 as a pop singer under the mononym Rijan releasing his song "Ligeglad". Very early on he recorded also the song "Farvel" that featured also the rapper Gilli accompanied with a music video and rap sequence by Gilli. The video enjoyed 500,000 views.
