Cobra Skulls
Cobra Skulls are an American punk rock band originally from Reno, Nevada, United States, but later based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have released three studio albums, five Extended play, EPs, and three 7" splits. History Cobra Skulls were formed in Reno, Nevada, in 2005 by Devin Peralta (bass, vocals), Charlie Parker (guitar) and Chad Cleveland (drums). They released an Extended play, EP titled ''Draw Muhammad'' in 2006. The EP caught the attention of Red Scare Industries who signed the band and released their debut album ''Sitting Army'' in 2007. They released a 7" titled ''Never Be a Machine'' in 2008. To promote the album the band went on tour with Against Me!, Mad Caddies, and The Loved Ones (American band), the Loved Ones, opening shows for them. During the 2007 tour the band added a second guitarist, Adam Beck. On August 20, 2008, the band announced they had parted ways with guitarist Charlie Parker. Pus Cavern
Pus is an exudate, typically white-yellow, yellow, or yellow-brown, formed at the site of inflammation during bacterial or fungal infection. An accumulation of pus in an enclosed tissue space is known as an abscess, whereas a visible collection of pus within or beneath the epidermis is known as a pustule, pimple or ''spot''. Description Pus consists of a thin, protein-rich fluid (historically known as ''liquor puris'') and dead leukocytes from the body's immune response (mostly neutrophils). During infection, macrophages release cytokines, which trigger neutrophils to seek the site of infection by chemotaxis. There, the neutrophils release granules, which destroy the bacteria. Red Scare Industries
Red Scare Industries (sometimes referred to as Red Scare Records) is a punk rock record label. The label was started in San Francisco (but moved to Chicago) by former Fat Wreck Chords employee Toby Jeg. Jeg started the label in 2004 when his friend Brendan Kelly of The Lawrence Arms wanted a new label to release the EP for his new band The Falcon, it has since released material for bands such as The Lillingtons, Cobra Skulls, The Copyrights, Sundowner, Teenage Bottlerocket, and more. For 2010 and 2011, Red Scare albums by The Menzingers and The Sidekicks have been named album of the year by punknews.org. American Rubicon
''American Rubicon'' is the second full-length album from punk rock band Cobra Skulls. It was digitally released by Red Scare Industries on July 7, 2009, with a physical release following one week later on July 14. It is the band's first release with guitarist Adam Beck, who joined the band in 2008 after the departure of Charlie Parker. The band entered the studio in late March 2009 to record the album. The album was finished and final details were announced on June 15, 2009. The same day, the band posted a new song, titled "H.D.U.I. (Honorary Discharge Under the Influence)", on their Myspace page.
