Siti Berenee Yahaya
Siti Berenee binti Yahaya is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Azlan Man from June 2018 to the collapse of the BN state administration in November 2022 as well as Member of the Perlis State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Mata Ayer from May 2018 to November 2022. She is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. Political career Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (2018–2022) On 13 June 2018, Siti Berenee was appointed as the Perlis State EXCO Member in charge of Women, Family, Community Development, Community Unity, and Special Tasks by Menteri Besar Azlan. Perlis, ( Northern Malay: ''Peghelih''), also known by its honorific title Perlis Indera Kayangan, is the smallest state in Malaysia by area and population. Located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, it borders the Thai provinces of Satun and Songkhla to the north and the Malaysian state of Kedah to the south. It was called Palit ( th, ปะลิส) by the Siamese when it was under their influence. Perlis had a population of 227,025 as of the 2010 census. An electoral wipeout occurs when a major party receives far fewer votes or seats in a legislature than their position justifies. The People's Justice Party ( ms, Parti Keadilan Rakyat , often known simply as KEADILAN or PKR) is a reformist political party in Malaysia, formed in 2003 by a merger of the National Justice Party and the older Malaysian People's Party. The Malaysian United Indigenous Party ( ms, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia), abbreviated BERSATU or PPBM, is a nationalist political party in Malaysia. The party was preceded by the United Indigenous Association of Malaysia (). It is a major component party within the Perikatan Nasional coalition and the Barisan Nasional coalition, after the collapse of the Pakatan-led government.
