''Sisters'' is a 2006 independent horror film directed by Douglas Buck. A remake of the 1972 Brian De Palma film of the same name, it stars Stephen Rea, Lou Doillon, and Chloë Sevigny in the leading roles, with Dallas Roberts and JR Bourne playing supporting characters. Douglas Buck
Douglas Buck is an American film director. Buck grew up on Long Island, in New York State. He later moved to New York City, where he began making films while working as an airport electrical engineer. Buck started by making short films, including ''Cutting Moments'' (1997), ''Home'' (1998), and ''Prologue'' (2003), all three of which were collected together in the ''Family Portraits'' anthology. '' Rue Morgue'' magazine selected ''Cutting Moments'' as one of its "100 Alternative Horror Films".
