Sister2Sister or S2S are an Australian duo comprising the Muscat sisters, Christine and Sharon, who were pop singers, songwriters and television presenters. Their debut album, ''One'' (June 2000), peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It provided two top five singles, " Sister" (1999) and " What's a Girl to Do?" (2000). At the ARIA Music Awards of 2000 "Sister" won Best Independent Release. From 2001 they undertook a career as television presenters, as VJs on '' MTV Hits'', and subsequently opened the Sister2Sister School of Singing in 2004. "Sister" is the debut single by Australian pop music duo, Sister2Sister, released on 4 October 1999. It reached number three in Australia, number 14 in New Zealand, number 18 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 50 in Ireland. Charts performance In Australia, the single was a huge success. The 14th Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as the ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAS) was held on 24 October 2000 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Presenters distributed 28 awards with the big winners for the year being Killing Heidi and Madison Avenue, each with four trophies. The compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings.
