Sisowath Youtevong
Sisowath Youtevong ( km, អ្នកអង្គម្ចាស់ ស៊ីសុវត្ថិ យុត្តិវង្ស; 1913 – 17 July 1947) was a Cambodian prince, politician and mathematician, credited as the "Father of Cambodian Democracy", and a member of the Democratic Party. He served as the fourth Prime Minister of Cambodia from December 1946 to July 1947. He was the first to be elected prime minister. Biography Sisowath Youtevong was born in 1913 in Udong, Cambodia, as the son of Prince Chamraengvongs (1870–1916) and Princess Sisowath Yubhiphan (1877–1967). He studied at a science university in France and received a certificate of mathematics in 1941.
