Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute
Sir Wilfrid Laurier Collegiate Institute (colloquially known as Sir Wilfrid Laurier CI, SWLCI, SWL, Sir Wilfrid Laurier or simply Laurier), initially known as Guildwood Secondary School is a high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Guildwood neighbourhood in the southern part of the former suburb of Scarborough. It is named in honour of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, the seventh Prime Minister of Canada. The school was established by the Scarborough Board of Education, and is now part of the Toronto District School Board. The motto of the school ''Hoc Tempus est Tibi'' which translates into English as "This Time is for You". History In 1962, the Scarborough Board of Education acquired the 14.2-acre site for Guildwood Secondary School at a cost of $303,751.00. Shaquille Murray-Lawrence
Shaquille "Shaq" Murray-Lawrence (born October 30, 1993) is a professional Canadian football running back and kickoff returner who is a free agent. He is also a member of the Canadian National Bobsled Team as a brakeman. He was a member of Team Canada at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Murray-Lawrence has also been a member of the BC Lions, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Montreal Alouettes. Carol Klimpel (born March 30, 1963) is a female former freestyle swimmer from Canada, who was chosen to represent her native country at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, but did not participate because of the United States-led Boycott. Serial Rapist
A serial rapist is someone who commits multiple rapes, whether with multiple victims or a single victim repeatedly over a period of time. Some serial rapists target children. Paul Bernardo
Paul Kenneth Bernardo (born August 27, 1964), also known as The Scarborough Rapist and The Schoolgirl Killer, is a Canadian serial killer and serial rapist. He is known for initially committing a series of rapes in Scarborough, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, between 1987 and 1990, before subsequently committing three murders with his then-wife Karla Homolka; among these victims was her young sister Tammy Homolka. The Nylons are an a cappella group founded in 1978 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, best known for their covers of pop songs such as The Turtles' " Happy Together", Steam's "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye", and The Tokens' "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
