Sir'Dominic Denzel Pointer (born May 6, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for APOEL of the Cyprus Basketball Division A. He played college basketball at St. John's. He was drafted 53rd overall in the 2015 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. Early life Pointer was born on May 6, 1992 in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony Nolan and San Pointer. He has two sisters, Connae and twin Miz'Unique. According to him, his desire to outwork others came from his cousin Michael Robinson, who was shot and killed at age 26. Robinson helped him stay in school, motivated Pointer in basketball, and helped him avoid influence from gangs. Pointer later used his cousin's picture as his profile picture on Twitter and said, "I appreciate him for that." Haggerty Award

Haggerty Award is given to the All-New York Metropolitan NCAA Division I men's college basketball player of the year, presented by the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and the Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA). Big East Conference
The Big East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference that competes in NCAA Division I in ten men's sports and twelve women's sports. Headquartered in New York City, the eleven full-member schools are primarily located in Northeast and Midwest metropolitan areas. Roseville, Michigan
Roseville is a city in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan, and is a part of the Metro Detroit area. The population was 47,299 at the 2010 census. Until 1958, Roseville was a part of Erin Township. History The first permanent post office in the area was established in 1840 by William Rose who named it the Roseville Post Office in honor of his father Dennison Rose, a veteran of the War of 1812.
