Sione Taione
Percy Sione Havea Taione (born September 2, 1971), more commonly known as Sione Taione, is a Tongan politician. He belongs to the Seventh Day Adventist Church and serves as an Elder for the Malapo Church in Tonga. He attended Beulah Primary School and continued to secondary at Beulah College. He continued onto tertiary education and obtained a Diploma in Law from the University of the South Pacific. He began working in the Supreme Court as a translator in 1990 and in 1997 became an interpreter. He became the Supreme Court Registrar in 2005. In all he has been working at the Supreme Court of Tonga for 20 years. He is one of the first qualified mediators in Tonga and is also the legal advisor for the Tongan Public Service Association (PSA) before going into politics. There is only one other qualified mediator in Tonga. Sione Tahaafe (born 8 July 1958), is a Tongan former rugby union player who played as number 8. Career Tahaafe started his career in 1974, after he left Tonga to go in New Zealand, and then in Australia where he played in the Shute Shield with Eastwood Rugby Club, with he won the Ken Catchpole Award in 1986. Sione Sonasi "Bo" Po'uha ( ; born February 3, 1979) is a former American football coach and former defensive tackle. On December 20 2022, Sione accepted the position to be the defensive tackles coach at Brigham Young University football. He previously served as the defensive line coach at the University of Utah, for whom he played college football. He announced his retirement from coaching on January 11, 2022. Prince Fatafehi Tuʻipelehake (Sione Ngū Manumataongo; 7 January 1922 – 10 April 1999) was the youngest son of Queen Sālote Tupou III and was educated in Tonga and Australia. Tu'ipelehake is a traditional very high-ranking Tongan title. He was the 5th Tu'ipelehake. Biography Tuʻi Pelehake attended Newington College, Sydney, (1941–1942) and Gatton Agricultural College, Queensland, Australia. Fatafehi married Melenaite Tupoumoheofo Veikune (13 November 1924 – 16 March 1993) on the same day as his older brother, the Crown Prince (in that time still called Tupoutoa-Tungī) married Halaevalu Mataʻaho ʻAhomeʻe. Sione Molia (born 5 September 1993) is a New Zealand rugby union player. He made his debut for the New Zealand sevens team at the 2016 USA Sevens. He scored two tries at the 2016 Canada Sevens in New Zealand's semi-final match against Australia to help them into the finals.
