Siobhán Donaghy
Siobhán Emma Donaghy (born 14 June 1984) is an English-Irish singer and songwriter. She is best known as a founding member of the girl group Sugababes. Donaghy left the Sugababes in 2001 and released her debut solo album, '' Revolution in Me'', in 2003, which contained three single releases. Her second studio album, '' Ghosts'', was released in 2007. Donaghy appeared in a remixed version of the hit stage show ''Rent'' (titled ''Rent Remixed'') for its 2007–2008 run, playing the role of Mimi alongside Denise van Outen. In 2012, Donaghy and her former Sugababes colleagues, Buena and Buchanan confirmed their reunion. The original trio were not able to release music under the name "Sugababes" as it was still owned by the management company. "Overload" is the debut single of British girl group Sugababes. It was released on 11 September 2000 through London Records as the lead single from the group's debut studio album, '' One Touch'' (2000). At the time, the group consisted of Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan. It was co-produced and co-written by British songwriters and producers Paul Simm, Felix Howard, Jony Rockstar and Cameron McVey. The general theme of the song involves a teenage girl's crush towards a boy and her finding the situation difficult to manage. Paul Simm
Paul Simm is an English musician, composer and record producer, known for his work with Amy Winehouse, the Sugababes and Neneh Cherry. Biography Paul Simm, discovered the piano aged five and mostly self-taught, by eleven was performing regular gigs. He also took up trumpet, and later, after being approached by David Hinds of Steel Pulse, played & arranged horns for Grammy Award nominated album, ''Victims''. At twenty Simm, now London based & a full time session musician , played alongside Carleen Anderson, Pops Staples, Mica Paris, Baby D, Charles & Eddie and MC Solar whilst simultaneously working as a studio sound engineer.
