''Sins of Empire'' is the first book in the flintlock fantasy trilogy ''Gods of Blood and Powder'' written by United States, American author Brian McClellan. It was published by Orbit Books in 2017. Flintlock
Flintlock is a general term for any firearm that uses a flint-striking lock (firearm), ignition mechanism, the first of which appeared in Western Europe in the early 16th century.
