Sinoy Joseph
Sinoy Joseph (born 31 July 1981) is an Indian film sound mixer and sound designer. He won the 60th National Film Awards for the best Re-recordist of the Final Mixed Track for the film ''Gangs of Wasseypur''. He also won the best sound mixing at the 49th Kerala State Film Awards for the Film Carbon. He has worked on more than 350 feature films in almost 20 languages, which includes English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Marathi cinemas. Early life Joseph was born into a middle-class family in Kudavechoor near Vaikom in Kottayam, Kerala. He was the youngest of four children. His father worked as a school teacher at St. Michael's HSS, Kudavechoor. Sinoy did his schooling in the same school. Apart from his studies, Sinoy was active in other extracurricular activities which included painting, singing and, dancing. Vaikom, , is a municipal town and a capital town of Vaikom Taluk, situated in the northwest of Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India. ''Trapped'' is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language survival drama film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, who also co-produced it with Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena under the banner of Phantom Films. The film stars Rajkummar Rao as Shaurya, a call centre employee who gets trapped in his apartment room without food, water, and electricity, and Geetanjali Thapa as Noorie, the employee's girlfriend. The film's music and background score was composed by Alokananda Dasgupta, with lyrics by Rajeshwari Dasgupta. Siddharth Diwan was the cinematographer, and Nitin Baid the editor. ''Sairat'' () is a 2016 Indian Marathi-language romantic tragedy film directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Manjule himself under his banner Aatpat Production along with Nittin Keni and Nikhil Sane under Essel Vision Productions and Zee Studios.
