Singapore International Commercial Court
The Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) was established on 5 January 2015. The idea to create the SICC was mooted by Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon at the Opening of Legal Year 2013, with a key feature being the internationalisation of the court. Soon thereafter on 13 May 2013, a committee was formed and co-chaired by Senior Minister of State for Law and Education, Indranee Rajah and the then Judge of Appeal V. K. Rajah Vijaya Kumar Rajah (born 14 January 1957), better known as V. K. Sundaresh Menon (born 26 February 1962) is a Singaporean lawyer and jurist who has been serving as the fourth chief justice of Singapore since 2012, appointed by President Tony Tan. Indranee Thurai Rajah ( ta, இந்திராணி ராஜா; born 1963) is a Singaporean politician who has been serving as Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance since 2018, Second Minister for National Development and Leader of the House since 2020. Carolyn Berger
Carolyn Berger is a former justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, and a former vice chancellor on the Delaware Court of Chancery. She was the first female member of both courts. David Edmond Neuberger, Baron Neuberger of Abbotsbury (; born 10 January 1948) is an English judge. He served as President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom from 2012 to 2017. He was a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary until the House of Lords' judicial functions were transferred to the new Supreme Court in 2009, at which point he became Master of the Rolls, the second most senior judge in England and Wales. Patricia Anne Bergin is a former judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Early life and education Bergin was born in Sydney, NSW, the daughter of Olga and Denis Bergin, and went to school at Sacré Cœur, Kincoppal. Bergin attended Sydney Teachers College, and was appointed as a teacher on probation on 4 February 1969, working as a teacher for five years before studying law at Macquarie University, graduating in 1981. Sir Bernard Anthony Rix (born 8 December 1944) is a former English judge, who was a Lord Justice of Appeal from 2000 to 2013. Family Rix is the son of Otto Rix and Sadie Silverberg. Robert Shenton French (born 19 March 1947) is an Australian lawyer and judge who served as the twelfth Chief Justice of Australia, in office from 2008 to 2017. He has been the chancellor of the University of Western Australia since 2017. French was born in Perth, Western Australia, and is a graduate of the University of Western Australia. Yuko Miyazaki
Yuko Miyazaki is a lawyer and former justice of the Supreme Court of Japan, serving from 2018 to 2021. She was born on 9 July 1951. Miyazaki earned her legal education respectively from the University of Tokyo (Faculty of Law; 1976) and Harvard Law School (1984). In 1979, after having worked as a legal apprentice, Miyazaki registered with the Daiichi Tokyo Bar Association and began practicing as a taxation attorney. In 1979, she was hired as a permanent attorney at the law firm Nagashima & Ohno. She became legal counsel for the World Bank in 1984.
