''Singakutty'' () is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language film starring Shivaji Dev, Gowri Munjal and Malavika. The film did average business in box office. Plot Kadhir joins the police force in accordance with his mother's wish. When he returns home after training, a nightmare awaits him. A terrorist abducts Kadhir's sister, lover and mother. Shivaji Dev (born 20 September 1989) is an Indian actor working in Tamil language films, who made his debut in Venkatesh's '' Singakutty'' (2008). Career Shivaji Dev made his debut, credited as Junior Sivaji, in Venkatesh's masala film '' Singakutty'' (2008), starring alongside Gowri Munjal. The film opened to negative reviews from critics and fared poorly at the box office. In 2009 he joined Balu Mahendra's film institute and undertook a specialized acting course for a year and then started acting in theatrical plays. Gowri Munjal (born 9 August 1985) is an Indian actress and model. She has frequently appeared in South Indian films and is probably best known for her performance as Mahalakshmi Somaraju in her debut film ''Bunny''.
