Sindh Public Service Commission
The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) is a provincial agency of Government of Sindh that is responsible for recruiting civil servants and bureaucrats for the Government of Sindh. History The Public Service Commission was set up for the first time in British India in 1926. After independence, the commission was established in Pakistan in 1947. At present, the commission is functioning under article 242 of the constitution of Pakistan. It has been provided autonomy under the Rules of Business, 1973 and FPSC Regulations, 1978 in its working. The commission has also been given administrative as well as, to some extent, financial autonomy to perform its functions independently. The commission consists of a chairman and members. The Government of Sindh ( sd, حڪومت سنڌ) ( ur, ) is the provincial government of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution, in which 30 Districts of 7 Divisions under its authority and jurisdiction. The province's head is the Chief Secretary is appointed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Hyderabad ( Sindhi and ur, ; ) is a city and the capital of Hyderabad Division in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is the second-largest city in Sindh, and the eighth largest in Pakistan. Rizwan Ahmed (civil Servant)
Rizwan Ahmed is a retired grade 22 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service who served as a Federal Secretary, and is currently serving as Member Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) since December 2022. He did his two-year Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University and joined the civil service in 1988. He was promoted to the country's highest civil service rank of grade 22 in 2017. Seemin Jamali
Seemin Jamali ( ur, سیمین جمالی; 19 August 1961 – 27 May 2023), also known as Iron Lady, Bullet Lady and Bomb-Proof Lady, was a Pakistani medical doctor and former executive director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. She was appointed Member of Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) in December 2022. She was the recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (2019) and the Women Achievement Awards. In October 2022, Jamali was given the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel by the Pakistan Army in recognition of her lifelong services. The governor of Sindh is the appointed head of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. The office of the governor as the head of the province is largely a ceremonial position; the executive powers lie with the Chief Minister of Sindh, chief minister and the Chief Secretary Sindh, chief secretary of Sindh.
