Sinchon () is a region of South Korea surrounding Sinchon-dong, Changcheon-dong, Nogosan-dong and Daeheung-dong. It is known for its numerous universities including Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Sogang University, Hongik University and Myongji University, as well as its vibrant nightlife. Transport The area is served by subway via Sinchon Station (). Also, various Seoul bus lines reach the street. Shopping The biggest shopping mall in Sinchon Station is Hyundai Department Store, which includes 8 Seconds, a Korean SPA brand, PEER, a Korean select shop, Espoir, VDL, both Korean cosmetic brands, and the other fashion and cosmetic brands. Sinchon-dong, Seoul
Sinchon-dong is a neighbourhood and a judicial (as opposed to administrative) ''dong'' () in Seodaemun-gu in Seoul, South Korea. Sinchon's main attraction is its nightlife, with numerous bars of both western style and traditional Korean hofs, restaurants, and other activities aimed at the area's student population. Transport Sinchon Station is located on Seoul Subway Line 2 between Ewha Womans University Station and Hongik University Station. Sinchon Station is also the name of a station on the Gyeongui Line which connects Seoul and Dorasan. Sinchon is the line's second station, located between Seoul Station and Gajwa Station. The main bus station/terminal is located near the police station about 100m south (towards Yeouido) from Sinchon Rotary. Bus number 110A goes to Itaewon and can be caught near Hyundai dept. store. Yonsei University

Seodaemun District
Seodaemun District (, "Great West Gate") is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. Seodaemun has a population of 313,814 (2010) and has a geographic area of 17.61 km2 (6.8 sq mi), and is divided into 14 '' dong'' (administrative neighborhoods). Seodaemun is located in northwestern Seoul, bordering the city districts of Eunpyeong to the northwest, Mapo to the southwest, Jung to the southeast, and Jongno to the east. Seoul Subway Line 2
Seoul Subway Line 2 ( ko, 서울 지하철 2호선), also known as the Circle Line, is a circular line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. The line running clockwise is called the "inner circle line" and the counter-clockwise line is called the "outer circle line". This is Seoul's most heavily used line, and consists of the main loop (47.7 km), the Seongsu Branch (5.4 km) and the Sinjeong Branch (6.0 km) for a total line length of 60.2 km. The Line 2 loop is the second longest subway loop in the world after Beijing Subway Line 10. In 2019, Line 2 had an annual ridership of 812 million passengers or 2.2 million passengers per day. Gyeongui Line
The Gyeongui Line is a railway line between Seoul Station and Dorasan Station in Paju. Korail operates the Seoul Metropolitan Subway service between Seoul Station and Dorasan Station. History ''For the original line's history and other information prior to 1945, see Gyeongui Line (1904–1945).'' Originally the line continued to P'yŏngyang and Sinŭiju, where it connected to the South Manchuria Railway, linking the Korean railway system to the rest of Asia and Europe. Mapo District
Mapo District () is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea.
