Sin (DC Comics)
Sin is a fictional comic book character appearing in books published by DC Comics. She first appeared in ''Birds of Prey'' #92 (May 2006), and was created by Gail Simone (writer) and Paulo Siqueira (artist). Sin appeared as a recurring character on The CW Arrowverse show ''Arrow'', played by Bex Taylor-Klaus. Fictional character biography Sin was introduced when Black Canary made a deal with Lady Shiva. They would switch lives for a year, in which Dinah would train as Lady Shiva had done, while Shiva herself took her position with Oracle and the Birds of Prey. During Dinah's training, she arrived at a village in Asia, which was ruled by a martial arts master known simply as Mother. Dinah was allowed to be trained by the cruel matriarch, though it often came as horrible mental and physical abuse. The League of Assassins (sometimes renamed the League of Shadows or Society of Shadows in adapted works) is a group of supervillains appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The group is depicted as a collective of assassins who work for Ra's al Ghul, an enemy of the superhero Batman and the Green Arrow. Merlyn (Arthur King), otherwise known as the Dark Archer, is a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He is a deadly bow-wielding assassin and contract killer and the archnemesis of Green Arrow, though writers have developed him over the years as an adversary of other superheroes as well, such as Batman and Black Canary. In 2012, the character made his live-action debut on The CW's television series ''Arrow'', portrayed by John Barrowman under the name Malcolm Merlyn.
