Simone Rethel
Simone Rethel-Heesters (born 15 June 1949 in Herrsching am Ammersee, Bavaria) is a German actress and writer. Biography Simone Rethel is the daughter of painter and designer Alfred Rethel and the granddaughter of aircraft designer Walter Rethel. She is the descendant of historical painter , the brother of Alfred Rethel. As a student in 1965, she played the main role in Axel von Ambesser's film ' alongside Theo Lingen and Friedrich von Thun. After she completed schooling, she took part to Hanna Burgwitz's acting lessons and made her stage debut during her formation by playing in Joseph von Eichendorff's ''Die Freier'' at the ' in Munich in 1966 under the direction of Axel von Ambesser, who had discovered her and later granted her several stage and television roles. Herrsching Am Ammersee
Herrsching am Ammersee is a municipality in Upper Bavaria, Germany, on the east shore of the Ammersee, southwest of Munich. The population is around 8,000 in winter, increasing to 13,000 in summer. Situated at one terminus of the Munich S-Bahn line S8, the village is popular with travellers for its water-sports and as the starting point of trips to the Benedictine Andechs Abbey. Herrsching is also a stop for touring steamships of the Bavarian ''Seenschiffahrt'' or lake fleet. Prior to the Second World War, Herrsching was home to the Hersching Business School (''Reichsfinanzschule Hersching''). From 1945 to 1946, the school was converted into a POW hospital and rehab facility for soldiers who had lost limbs. ''Die Rosenheim-Cops'' is a German television series set in Chiemgau, mainly in Rosenheim. It is produced by the Bavaria Film GmbH for the ZDF public TV network. The cost per episode is estimated at 425,000 euros. Concept The series' main overall focus lies on the contrasting personalities of a rustic Upper Bavarian small town inspector and his frequently replaced city slicker colleague, who has usually been transferred to the town for mostly incomprehensible reasons. ''Wege zum Glück'' (English: ''Ways to Happiness'') is a German telenovela. The show was starting on October 6, 2005 on ZDF and originally was planned to have 250 chapters. Later the concept was changed and the title became a label to tell different love stories in telenovela-style. After 789 chapters, the network decided to cancel the show. The last episode aired on February 24, 2009. ZDF decided to end the show after ratings declined from season to season. Unable to find a successful replacement, the network announced in January 2012 that a deal was made with the production company Grundy UFA to reactivate the ''Wege zum Glück'' series. (''In all friendship'') is a German television soap opera that began airing in 1998 every Tuesday. The series follows the staff of the fictional Sachsenklinik hospital in the city of Leipzig.
