Simone Boye Sørensen
Simone Boye Sørensen (born 3 March 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hammarby IF and the Denmark national team. Club career Raised in Regstrup, near Holbæk, Boye began playing football with Jernløse IF. She has a weakness in her eardrums which causes them to perforate easily. In 2012, Boye attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she played college soccer for the UTSA Roadrunners. Boye later returned to her Danish club BSF after the American season. Boye signed for Brøndby IF in the Danish Elitedivisionen in 2013 and was deployed as a central midfielder at club level. Equally comfortable defending or attacking, she represented Brøndby in the UEFA Women's Champions League. She was voted 2014 Danish Football Player of the Year. Mariann Gajhede Knudsen
Mariann Gajhede Knudsen (born 16 November 1984) is a retired Danish footballer who last played as a central midfielder for Linköpings FC of Sweden's Damallsvenskan. She won over 100 caps for the Danish national team, before announcing her retirement from international football in November 2014 and making a brief comeback the following year. She was named Danish Player of the Year in 2008. In 2017, she joined the Norwegian national team as fitness coach and physiotherapist to the team. Club career Gajhede Knudsen represented Fortuna Hjørring in both legs of the 2003 UEFA Women's Cup Final, a 1–7 aggregate defeat by Umeå IK of Sweden. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. The Chile women's national football team represents Chile in international women's football. It is administered by the Federación de Fútbol de Chile and is a member of CONMEBOL. The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. From 2013, the Damallsvenskan began operating on a system of promotion and relegation with the Elitettan. The two lowest placed teams are relegated to the Elitettan, and the two highest placed teams from the Elitettan are promoted in their place. The Danish Player of the Year award is an annual prize, which has been given to the best male Danish football player by the Danish Football Association since 1963. The winner is decided in a vote among the professional Danish footballers. Since 2000, there has also been an award for the top female player. The Danish Women's League ( da, Danmarksturneringens Kvindeliga, Kvinde-DM Liga or Kvindeligaen) is a semi-professional top-flight league for women's football in Denmark.
