Simon Marnie
Simon Marnie is an Australian radio and television presenter. Career Radio Marnie was a student of the inaugural radio course at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. Prior to joining ABC Radio Sydney, he worked at Triple J starting in work experience before moving to a full time position. Simon currently hosts ABC Radio Sydney's weekend morning program across New South Wales. The program is broadcast throughout Sydney on Saturdays from 6am–12 noon and New South Wales from 10 am, and on Sundays from 10am–12 noon in Sydney. Television Simon conceived and produced SBS TV's music show, ''nomad'', produced on WOW TV and reported on ABC TV's ''TVTV''. Australian Film, Television And Radio School
The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) formerly Australian Film and Television School, is Australia's national screen arts and broadcast school. The school is a Commonwealth Government statutory authority. History Established in 1972 as the Australian Film and Television School, as part of the Commonwealth Government's strategy to promote the development of Australia's cultural activity, AFTRS was opened to students in 1973, with the first intake of 12 students including directors Gillian Armstrong, Phillip Noyce and Chris Noonan. Amanda Gabrielle Brown (born 17 November 1965) is an Australian composer, classically trained musician, singer and songwriter known for her role as the violinist of the band The Go-Betweens and more recently a session musician and soundtrack composer.
