Typically deployed in symmetric pairs, an individual bracket may be identified as a 'left' or 'right' bracket or, alternatively, an "opening bracket" or "closing bracket", respectively, depending on the Writing system#Directionality, directionality of the context. Specific forms of the mark include parentheses (also called "rounded brackets"), square brackets, curly brackets (also called 'braces'), and angle brackets (also called 'chevrons'), as well as various less common pairs of symbols. Alumni Of Trinity College, Oxford
Alumni (singular: alumnus (masculine) or alumna (feminine)) are former students of a school, college, or university who have either attended or graduated in some fashion from the institution. The feminine plural alumnae is sometimes used for groups of women. The word is Latin and means "one who is being (or has been) nourished". The term is not synonymous with "graduate"; one can be an alumnus without graduating (Burt Reynolds, alumnus but not graduate of Florida State, is an example). The term is sometimes used to refer to a former employee or member of an organization, contributor, or inmate. Etymology The Latin noun ''alumnus'' means "foster son" or "pupil". It is derived from PIE ''*h₂el-'' (grow, nourish), and it is a variant of the Latin verb ''alere'' "to nourish".Merriam-Webster: alumnus

The Rings Of Power
''The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power'' is an American fantasy television series developed by J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay for Amazon Prime Video. Based on the novel ''The Lord of the Rings'' and its appendices by J. R. R. Tolkien, the series is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before Tolkien's '' The Hobbit'' and ''The Lord of the Rings''. It is produced by Amazon Studios in association with New Line Cinema, and in consultation with the Tolkien Estate. Amazon bought the television rights for ''The Lord of the Rings'' from the Tolkien Estate in November 2017, making a five-season production commitment worth at least $US1 billion.
