Simon Lefebvre
Simon Lefebvre (born 6 May 1997) is a French footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for AS Muret. Career Europe Lefebvre joined the Bordeaux academy in 2010, where he played until 2016. Lefebvre appeared on the bench twice for the first team in August 2015, but never made a first team appearance. Following his release from Bordeaux and a trial with Birmingham City, on 25 July 2016 Lefebvre joined National League side Forest Green Rovers on a two-year deal. On 1 December 2016, he made a one-month loan to fellow National League side Bishop's Stortford. Lefebvre left Forest Green on 25 July 2017, without making a first team appearance for the club. United States In 2018, Lefebvre moved to the United States to play college soccer at Temple University. In two seasons with the Owls, Lefebvre made 35 appearances and in 2019, he was named All-AAC Second Team. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. Brendan Burke
Brendan Gilmore Burke (December 8, 1988 – February 5, 2010) was an athlete and student manager at Miami University for the RedHawks men's ice hockey team. The youngest son of Brian Burke, former general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, longtime executive of various other NHL teams and of the US Olympic hockey team, in November 2009, he made international headlines for coming out, advocating for tolerance and speaking out against homophobia in professional sports. Burke's coming out was widely praised and supported by sports news outlets and fans, generating multiple discussions about homophobia in sports, and in hockey in particular. He was viewed as a pioneer in advocacy against homophobia in hockey, described as "the closest person to the NHL ever to come out publicly and say that he is gay."
