Simon Daniels (musician)
Simon Daniels (born June 24, 1964) is a Brazilian musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for American glam metal band Autograph. Daniels replaced original Autograph frontman Steve Plunkett after the latter decided not to participate in a 2013 band reunion. Biography Simon moved from Brazil to Los Angeles in 1985 and shortly after formed the band Agent X, with guitarist Billy D'Vette (Pair-A-Dice), they recorded "Rock n Roll Angels" with Kim Fowley ( Kiss & Runaways). He then merged with former Rough Cutt members Amir Derakh, Matt Thorr and Dave Alford and started Jailhouse. Autograph (American Band)
Autograph is an American glam metal band formed in Pasadena, California, in 1983. The band is best known for their 1984 hit song " Turn Up the Radio". Due to the song being their only major success, Autograph is often considered a one-hit wonder. Glam metal (also known as hair metal or pop metal) is a subgenre of heavy metal that features pop-influenced hooks and guitar riffs, upbeat rock anthems, and slow power ballads. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Pair-A-Dice
Pair-A-Dice was an American Glam metal band founded in 1986 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The band was active until 1990, with a brief reunion in 2008 at Rocklohoma music festival, the band featured Dave Marshall on guitar, who went on to play with Vince Neil and Michael Jackson. History 1986 - 1990 Pair-A-Dice was formed in 1986 by founding members Nick Masella (Bass) and Chris Lewin (Guitar) they brought in vocalist Paul Lancia and Daz Bash (Drums) the band quickly started to build a following on the Sunset Strip playing shows with Poison and Warrant. Kim Fowley
Kim Vincent Fowley (July 21, 1939 – January 15, 2015) was the American record producer, songwriter and musician who was behind a string of novelty and cult pop rock singles in the 1960s, and managed The Runaways in the 1970s. He has been described as "one of the most colorful characters in the annals of rock & roll", as well as "a shadowy cult figure well outside the margins of the mainstream". Amir Derakh
Amir Davidson, professionally known as Amir Derakh, is an American musician and record producer. He is currently the guitarist and the synthesizer player for the band Julien-K, and was the guitarist for the band Dead by Sunrise. He was once the guitar synthesizer player in the rock band Orgy, and has also played guitar in the bands Rough Cutt and Jailhouse. Career After graduating in 1981 from Mission Bay High School in San Diego, California, Derakh played lead guitar for local bands Armed & Ready and Emerald. He moved to Los Angeles to replace Craig Goldy in Rough Cutt. He made a guest appearance on Crazy Town's album, '' The Gift of Game''. Dave Alford
Dave Alford also known as Rockin Dave is an American Heavy Metal Rock drummer, singer, songwriter and producer who has played in the bands Max Havoc, Ratt, Jailhouse, Mod Ev, Kryme and Rough Cutt, whom he rejoined in 2016 upon their reformation. Alford also contributed to the Hear 'N Aid video project where various heavy metal/ hard rock artists collaborated to raise money for Famine Relief in 1985; produced by Ronnie James Dio. In 2013 Dave reunited with members of Jailhouse to perform on the Monsters of Rock Cruise. More recently, Dave has reunited with Rough Cutt members for the 2016 Monsterwood Monsters of Rock Cruise.
