Simon Dallow
Simon Dallow (born 18 June 1964) is a New Zealand journalist, former barrister and television personality. Early years Dallow, who is the son of Ross Dallow, was educated at Liston College and St Peter's College. He completed his tertiary education at Auckland University, where he studied law. After completing his legal studies, Dallow practised as a litigation and insurance lawyer in Auckland, New Zealand. Whilst on his overseas experience, the 1987 stock market crash occurred, causing him to change careers, as a future in bankruptcy law was unappealing. Dallow then spent the next six years as a Contiki Tours tour director in Europe, where he met future wife Alison Mau. Both returned to New Zealand in 1993, and began working for TVNZ. Dallow married Mau in 1996, the couple had two children. They separated in 2009. Mix was a greatest hits radio station in New Zealand, broadcasting music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Mix was owned and operated by New Zealand Media and Entertainment. Mix is targeted at 35 to 54-year-olds. Its head office and studios were located in central Auckland, alongside New Zealand Media and Entertainment's seven other radio networks. Its use is also assigned to the most significant story of the moment or a story that is being covered live. Wendy Petrie
Wendy Petrie (born August 1971) is a New Zealand journalist and television presenter, best known for presenting '' 1 News at Six'' alongside Simon Dallow, a role she held for fourteen years from 2006 to 2020. Career Petrie began her journalism career in radio, as a writer for Independent Radio News bulletins. She later joined TV3, where she worked variously as a reporter, news anchor and weather presenter on 3 News, as well as being a regular fill-in host on late night news programme Nightline. Petrie moved to Canada in 2001, becoming a newsreader for CTV NewsNet and a substitute newsreader on the CTV morning programme ''Canada AM''.
