Simon Bedford
Simon Bedford (born 8 February 1976) is an English former professional snooker player. Career Bedford's best performance in a professional ranking event was to qualify for the 1998 World Championship; he beat Gary Wilkinson 10–9, before losing 10–6 to Steve Davis. He also reached the last 32 of the European Open in 2004 and the Grand Prix in 2008, beating two-time World Champion Mark Williams en route. He qualified to return to the Main Tour for the 2008–09 season by finishing fourth in the 2007/2008 Pontins International Open Series rankings. In the 2012–13 season, he became the only player to beat World Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan, after a 4–3 win from 3–2 behind in the first main round of the third UK event of the Players Tour Championship in September. Bradford
Bradford is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. World Professional Billiards And Snooker Association
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) is the governing body of professional snooker and English billiards based in Bristol, England. It owns and publishes the official rules of the two sports and engages in promotional activities. The Professional Billiard Players Association (PBPA) was founded in 1946, and, after some years of inactivity, was revived in 1968 and renamed the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association in 1970. 2013 UK Championship (snooker)
The 2013 williamhill.com UK Championship was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 26 November–8 December 2013 at the Barbican Centre in York, England. It was the sixth ranking event of the 2013/2014 season. Mark Selby made the 100th official maximum break during his semi-final match against Ricky Walden. This was Selby's second official 147 break and the third maximum break in the 2013/2014 season. Neil Robertson won his ninth ranking title by defeating defending champion Selby 10–7 in the final, despite trailing 1–5 and 3–6 during the match. Robby Foldvari (born 2 June 1960) is an Australian player of snooker, English billiards and pool. He is a multi-year World Billiards Champion (1986, 1997, 1998), and a national-level champion in both snooker (2006, 2008) and nine-ball pool (2012), as well as a World Games competitor (2013). Outside of competition, he is a coach and television commentator. Ian Williamson
Ian Williamson (born 1 December 1958) is an English former professional snooker and English billiards player. Biography Ian Williamson was born on 1 December 1958. His father was Jim Williamson, founding proprietor of the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds. Williamson was runner up in the English Under 19 English billiards Championships in 1975 and 1976. He lost the 1975 final to Eugene Hughes and the 1976 final to Steve Davis. In 1976, he beat Davis in the semi-final of the Under-19 Snooker championship before losing to him later the same day in the billiards final. Williamson won the Under-19 billiards title in 1977 and 1978, beating John Barnes in the final both years.
