Simma Soppanam
''Simma Soppanam'' () is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by P. Krishna and produced by S. S. Karuppa Sami. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, Prabhu and Radha. The film had musical score by K. V. Mahadevan. Plot The hero played by Shivaji Ganesan is a staunch communist hotshot labour lawyer who brings corrupt evil industrialist to their knees. He gets betrayed by his number 2, played by Major Sundarajan becoming disillusioned, loses his hand and quits fighting for them. His son, played by Prabhu, gives the romantic angle. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Prabhu Ganesan (born 25 December 1956), known professionally as Prabhu, is an Indian actor, businessman and film producer who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. Udaya Chandrika, better known by her screen/stage name Radha (born 3 June 1965), is an Indian actress, who predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child.
