Simkin De Pio
Simkin de Pio (born March 17, 1976, in Quezon City) is a Filipino painter, conservator and restorer. The eldest son of renowned Filipino realist painter Gig de Pio and Fe Esterlina, his siblings include Las Vegas-based painter Gig Jr. and Manila-based painter Vincent de Pio. In 1994 de Pio graduated from the Ateneo de Manila High School and in 1998 entered the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts in Diliman where he studied under the tutelage of such Philippine art stalwarts as Roberto Feleo and Roberto Chabet. After finishing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting, de Pio worked as a graphic artist and illustrator at the UP NISMED, the AMA Computer University head office, and Petplan, later teaching at the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde School of Design and the Arts as well as at Xavier School (on top of duties as a graphic designer).Erehwon Artworld Corporation. Daniil Simkin (born 12 October 1987 in Novosibirsk, Russia) is a ballet dancer and entrepreneur, best known for his accomplished technical skill and charismatic stage presence. He is a principal dancer with both American Ballet Theatre and Berlin State Ballet. Simkin is based in Berlin and New York, and is the founder of Studio Simkin. Darren Simkin
Darren Spencer Simkin (born 24 March 1970) is an English former footballer who played as a defender. He played in the Football League for both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Shrewsbury Town. Career Simkin joined Second Division club Wolverhampton Wanderers in November 1992 for £10,000 from non-league Blakenhall Town. He made his senior debut on 7 April 1993 in a 1–1 draw against Luton Town, the first of seven consecutive first team appearances. He made only sixteen appearances in total for Wolves before he was sold to Shrewsbury Town in December 1994 for £36,000. He remained with Shrewsbury for eighteen months before he dropped back into non-league by joining Telford United, whom he had also spent a loan spell with. Jim Simkin
James Solomon Simkin (1919–1984) was an early seminal figure in the history of Gestalt Therapy. Biography Simkin received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Michigan, and practiced in New Jersey. He also was Chief Psychologist at a large VA hospital. Like most psychotherapists of his generation he was trained analytically. After working in therapy with Fritz Perls in the early 1950s, Simkin became enamored of the Gestalt approach, training and then doing co-therapy with Fritz. Later, he moved with his family to Southern California and started a therapy practice in Beverly Hills. He invited Perls to join him, but the sharing of an office was short-lived—Perls' volatility and Simkin's hyper-orderly style didn't mix too well vis a vis sharing an office (Simkin, personal communication, 1980). John Simkin
Wilfred John Simkin (15 June 1883 – 8 July 1967) was the 6th Anglican Bishop of Auckland whose episcopate spanned a 20-year period during the middle of the 20th century. Born in Staffordshire he was educated at ''The Prince of Wales School'', Rugeley and Lichfield Theological College before embarking on an ecclesiastical career with a curacy at '' Christ Church, Stafford''. Emigrating to New Zealand in 1911 he was successively Vicar of Wairoa, Private Chaplain to the Bishop of Waiapu and Archdeacon of Hawkes Bay/Manukau before appointment to the See of Auckland in 1940. Richard Simkin
Richard Simkin (1850–1926) was a British artist and illustrator of military uniforms. Biography Born in Herne Bay, Kent, on 5 November 1850, the son of a commercial traveller, also named Richard. He spent much of his time at Aldershot, Hampshire, after marrying his wife, Harriet, in 1880, and may also have been a volunteer in the Artists Rifles. He was employed by the War Office to design recruiting posters, and to illustrate the ''Army and Navy Gazette''. Toby Simkin (, 21 April 1964 – 7 April 2024) was an English theatrical producer and impresario most notable for his work on Broadway and off-Broadway and in London's West End.
