Simge (singer)
Simge Sağın (born 8 August 1981) is a Turkish singer. From early 2010s, she started to make Turkish pop songs, and with the release of her single "Miş Miş" in 2015 she became one of the well-known artists in Turkey. Born in Şişli, Istanbul, Simge decided to pursue a career in music and with her father's support enrolled in Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory and took music education. After graduating, she worked as a backing vocalist for many pop singers before releasing her first EP '' Yeni Çıktı'' (2011) with the help of Erdem Kınay. Her debut did not earn her the success that she had intended, and her main breakthrough came four years later with the single "Miş Miş", which became a number-one hit on Türkçe Top 20 for four weeks. Following the release of "Yankı" and "Ben Bazen", her name continued to appear among the top three on the music charts, and her song "Öpücem" became a number-one hit in Turkey. Şişli () is one of the 39 districts of Istanbul, Turkey. Located on the European side of the city, it is bordered by Beşiktaş to the east, Sarıyer to the north, Eyüp and Kağıthane to the west, and Beyoğlu to the south. ''Habertürk'' (literally: "News Turkish"), abbreviated as ''HT'', was a high-circulation Turkish newspaper. It was established on March 1, 2009 by Ciner Media Group, drawing on the brand of Ciner's Habertürk TV. It ceased publication on 5 July, 2018. The newspaper sold on its first day of publication 360,000 copies. At 10 hours local time, the first issue was outsold. The next day's circulation totaled to 202,000. ''Ama Bir Farkla'' (''But with a Difference'') is the sixth studio album by Turkish singer Gülşen. It was released on 13 July 2007 by Rec by Saatci. It was her first and only album to be released by this company. Content Ufuk Yıldırım served as the album's arranger, while Gülşen and Ercan Saatçi wrote and composed the songs. For its first music video, Gülşen chose "Kara Böcükler", a song which features ironic elements. Two other music videos were made for the songs "E Bilemem Artık" and "Su Gibi Geçerdi Zaman", the first of which ranked second on Turkey's official music chart. ''Zirve'' (''Peak'') is the sixth studio album by Turkish singer Demet Akalın. It was released by Seyhan Müzik on 23 April 2010 The release date was officially announced as 23 April 2010, but postponed because of air travel restrictions during the volcanic eruptions of Iceland. The follow-up of '' Dans Et'', this was her first album in more than two years. Akalın again worked with Bülent Seyhan, with whom she had worked the album ''Banane'' (1996). Demet Akalın (born 23 April 1972) is a Turkish singer and former model. Due to the popular songs she has released since the middle of the 2000s, she has become one of the most recognizable names of Turkish pop music. Akalın, who was born in Gölcük, Kocaeli, initially decided to pursue a career in modeling and started working as a model for Neşe Erberk's agency. She also acted in a number of motion picture films and television series in the 1990s. Simultaneously with modeling, she started singing in the casinos, and released her first studio album, '' Sebebim'' in 1996 which was not successful. ''Güneş'' ("Sun" in Turkish) is a daily newspaper in Turkey. It was owned by Ethem Sancak's Star Media Group. History ''Güneş'' was founded in 1982 by Ömer Çavuşoğlu and Ahmet Kozanoğlu. It was later bought by Asil Nadir. ''Güneş'' was owned by the Çukurova Media Group (who acquired it from Güneri Cıvaoğlu) from 1996 to 2013.
