Simcha Leiner (born 1989) is an American singer, composer and entertainer in the Contemporary Jewish religious music industry. Career Leiner started singing at weddings in 2008. In 2014, he officially debuted his career with the release of his album ''Pischi Li''. He released his single, Kol Berama. The song was composed by Leiner after the 11 March 2011 massacre in the Israeli settlement of Itamar by Palestinian terrorists. The song was used as the background in Tisha B’Av’s Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation’s videos. Monsey, New York
Monsey (, yi, מאנסי, translit=Monsi) is a hamlet and census-designated place in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States, located north of Airmont, east of Viola, south of New Hempstead, and west of Spring Valley. The village of Kaser is surrounded by the hamlet of Monsey. The 2020 census listed the population at 26,954. The hamlet has a large, and growing, community of Orthodox Jews. History Rockland County was inhabited by the Munsee band of Lenape Native Americans, who were speakers of the Algonquian languages. Monsey Glen, a Native American encampment, is located west of the intersection of State Route 59 and State Route 306. Numerous artifacts have been found there and some rock shelters are still visible. Baruch Levine (born December 28, 1977) is a Canadian-born American Orthodox Jewish composer and singer whose songs have become popular and classic throughout the Orthodox Jewish world. His slow, soulful, heartfelt tunes have gained wide popularity at Shabbat tables and '' kumzits'' gatherings. One of his most successful compositions is "''Vezakeini''" (Give Us Merit), derived from the ancient prayer recited at Shabbat candle lighting.
