Silvère Tian
Silvère Tian (born July 19, 1980) is an Ivorian rugby union fullback. Career Born in Abidjan, Tian started playing rugby at age 6 in the city. He took part in the 1998 Under-21 World Championships that were held in France and attracted the attention of the Rodez recruiters. He left for Flers after a difficult couple of years. After two years, he left for Fédérale 1 club Tours, where he stayed for three years. His breakthrough came when he joined Bourg-en-Bresse, whom he helped get promoted to Pro D2. He attracted the attention of Oyonnax, where he finished the Pro D2 top scorer for the 2009–10 Rugby Pro D2 season. Abidjan
Abidjan ( , ; N'Ko script, N’ko: ߊߓߌߖߊ߲߬) is the economic capital of the Ivory Coast. Rugby Pro D2
Rugby Pro D2, also known as Pro D2 is the second tier of rugby union club competition division in France. It is operated by Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) which also runs the division directly above, the first division Top 14. Rugby Pro D2 was introduced in 2000. It is the world's best supported second tier rugby union league. Season structure There is relegation and promotion between both the Top 14 and Fédérale 1, the third-level competition. The top club at the end of the season is automatically promoted to the Top 14; through the 2016–17 season, the 2nd through 5th place teams play each other for the second promotion place. Romain Poite (born 14 September 1975) is a French former rugby union international referee. Poite retired in November 2021 after refereeing 72 tests, refereeing the third-most international tests in international rugby behind Nigel Owens (Wales) and Wayne Barnes (England). He made his debut in 2006, and has been a referee at three World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019), including the 2019 Final. He made his World Cup debut as an assistant referee in 2007 during the match between Ireland and Namibia. The Top 14 () is a professional rugby union club competition that is played in France. Created in 1892, the Top 14 is at the top of the national league system operated by the French National Rugby League, also known by its French initialism of LNR.
