Silvia Ziche
Silvia Ziche (; born 5 July 1967) is an Italian comic book artist and writer, known for her work in Disney comics for the Italian comic digest ''Topolino''. Biography Ziche was born in Thiene. Ziche has also worked on the magazines ''Linus,'' ''Comix'' and ''Cuore.'' She is known for her long story arcs published during successive issues of ''Topolino'', such as "Paperina di Rivondosa", "Topokolossal", "Il papero del mistero", "Il Grande Splash" and "Papere alla deriva". Awards and honours Ziche won the 1997 Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Emerging Author and the 1999 Lucca Comics' Panther Award for Best Designer of Humorous Comics. Galerie Lambiek is a Dutch comic book store and art gallery in Amsterdam, founded on November 8, 1968 by Kees Kousemaker (, – Bussum, ), though since 2007, his son Boris Kousemaker is the current owner. From 1968 to 2015, it was located in the Kerkstraat, but in November 2015, the store moved to the Koningsstraat 27. As of 2018, Lambiek is the oldest comics store in Europe, and the oldest worldwide still in existence. The name "Lambiek" originated as a misspelling of the name of the comics character Lambik, from the popular Suske & Wiske comic book series created by Belgian artist Willy Vandersteen. Lucca Comics & Games is an annual comic book and gaming convention in Lucca, Italy, traditionally held at the end of October, in conjunction with All Saints' Day. It is the largest comics festival in Europe, and the second biggest in the world after the Comiket. History The Salone Internazionale del Comics ("International Congress of Comics") was launched by a Franco-Italian partnership, consisting of Italians Rinaldo Traini and Romano Calisi and Frenchman (forming the International Congress of Cartoonists and Animators) in 1965 in Bordighera.
