Silvia-Sorina Munteanu (born in Ghioroc, Arad County) is a Romanian opera singer. Munteanu made her debut in 1996 in Georges Bizet's ''Carmen''. She has been a soloist at the Romanian National Opera, Timișoara, at the Romanian National Opera, Cluj-Napoca, and since 2003 at the Romanian National Opera, Bucharest. Ghioroc ( hu, Gyorok) is a commune in Arad County, Romania. Ghioroc commune is situated in the contact zone of Zărand Mountains and Arad Plateau, on the Matca channel, and it stretches over . It is composed of three villages: Cuvin (''Aradkövi''), Ghioroc (situated at from Arad) and Miniș (''Ménes''). National Opera And Ballet
The National Opera and Ballet ( bg, Национална опера и балет) is a national cultural institution in Bulgaria that covers opera and ballet. It is based in an imposing building in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The first opera company in Bulgaria was founded in 1890 as part of the Capital Opera and Drama Company. The two sections split in 1891 to form the ''Salza i Smyah'' theatrical company and the Capital Bulgarian Opera. It was, however, disbanded the next year due to lack of government funding and financial difficulties. The Bulgarian Opera Society was established in 1908 and staged its first test performance. The Hungarian State Opera House ( hu, Magyar Állami Operaház) is a neo-Renaissance opera house located in central Budapest, on Andrássy út. Originally known as the Hungarian Royal Opera House, it was designed by Miklós Ybl, a major figure of 19th-century Hungarian architecture. Aalto Theatre
The Aalto Theatre (Aalto-Theater) is a performing arts venue in Essen, Germany, and is home to the city's opera company Aalto-Musiktheater and the ballet company Aalto Ballett.
