Silvia Milena Corzo Pinto (born October 30, 1973 in Bucaramanga, Santander) is a Colombian lawyer and presenter. Biography Her parents are Mario Corzo and Irene Pinto. After finishing high school, Corzo studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, where she majored in Law. In 1995, during her fifth and final year of college, her family signed her up for the ''Señorita Santander'' ("Miss Santander") beauty contest, where she was the runner-up. She considers that if she had won, she would not have finished her college studies, but would have become a model, an actress or a housewife. According to her, she has always fancied working in the media and, although she has worked as a lawyer, she prefers human rights issues because she does not consider herself good at litigating. Canal 1 ( en, Channel 1; pronounced "Canal Uno") is a Colombian state-owned television channel. It is owned by the Government of Colombia and managed by Plural Comunicaciones, S.A.S, a private company. María Cristina Uribe is a Colombian journalist and news presenter born in Medellín. Between 2002 and 2011 she presented ''Noticias Uno''. Uribe majored in Social Communication and Journalism at the Pontifical Bolivarian University in 1991. Her television debut was on a programme on the regional channel Teleantioquia, where she would later present a newscast. Later, Uribe would appear on national newscasts such as ''QAP Noticias'' and ''Noticiero de las Siete'' on Canal A and ''CM&'' on Canal Uno. Manuel Teodoro is an American journalist. He was born in 1960 in New Orleans. His father is a Filipino and his mother was born in Cartagena de Indias. Teodoro majored in journalism from the University of Miami and started his career in 1984 as an editorial assistant for CBS News. Later he moved to Univision as a reporter and producer and became their correspondent in the Philippines. While staying in that country, he also anchored the evening news program "Newswatch" of the RPN television network. After that he became the Hispanic New York based-correspondent for CNN.
