Cinisello Balsamo
Cinisello Balsamo (; ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) of about 75,200 inhabitants in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, about northeast of Milan city center. Cinisello Balsamo borders the following municipalities: Monza, Muggiò, Nova Milanese, Paderno Dugnano, Cusano Milanino, Sesto San Giovanni, Bresso. The current ''comune'' was formed in 1928 by the union of Cinisello and Balsamo, and received the honorary title of city through a presidential decree on 17 October 1972. History Until the late 1920s, Cinisello and Balsamo were two separate municipalities. By royal decree, on 13 September 1928 a merger was arranged to form the current common. As a symbol, the emblem of the city now encompasses those of the two municipalities merged: the emblem of the pastoral and the sword on a red field in fact belongs to Balsamo, the rampant crowned lion on a blue field belongs to Cinisello. Name Cinisello (from the Latin ''cinis'', "Ashes", through ''cinixell ...

David Lyme
David Lyme (born Jordi Cubino Bermejo, 22 November 1966, Spain), also known as Jordi Cubino, is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and model. He is one of the pillars of the so-called "Sabadell sound" (named after the Spanish city of Sabadell), a variant of the Italo disco made in Spain, which became popular in Europe in the 1980s. Originally, he started out singing opera, but later discovered Italo disco by "accident". In 1985, he released his first single "Bambina", under Max Music and it became so successful that he soon released two more singles ("Let's Go to Sitges" and "Playboy"), followed by the release of his debut album, ''Like a Star''. The album contains eight songs including two ballads, a new version of "Bambina", as well as the hit singles "Bye Bye Mi Amor" and "I Don't Wanna Lose You". Those singles were popular in various countries across Europe, but most popular in Japan and the Philippines. In 1988, he released his second album, ''Lady'', which included the singles ...

People From Cinisello Balsamo
A person ( : people) is a being that has certain capacities or attributes such as reason, morality, consciousness or self-consciousness, and being a part of a culturally established form of social relations such as kinship, ownership of property, or legal responsibility. The defining features of personhood and, consequently, what makes a person count as a person, differ widely among cultures and contexts. In addition to the question of personhood, of what makes a being count as a person to begin with, there are further questions about personal identity and self: both about what makes any particular person that particular person instead of another, and about what makes a person at one time the same person as they were or will be at another time despite any intervening changes. The plural form "people" is often used to refer to an entire nation or ethnic group (as in "a people"), and this was the original meaning of the word; it subsequently acquired its use as a plural form of ...

Eurodisco Musicians
Eurodisco (also spelled as Euro disco) is the variety of European forms of electronic dance music that evolved from disco in the late 1970s, incorporating elements of pop and rock into a disco-like continuous dance atmosphere. Many Eurodisco compositions feature lyrics sung in English, although the singers often share a different mother tongue. Eurodisco derivatives generally include Europop and Eurodance, with the most prominent sub-genres being space disco of the late 1970s and Italo disco of the early 1980s. The genre declined in popularity after 1986 in preference to electronic rock and hi-NRG, with a small revival of Italo disco in at least the late 1990s. History Eurodisco is largely an offshoot of contemporary American music trends going far back to the early times of R&B, soul, disco, pop and rock. During the 1960s, Europop hits spread around France, Italy and Germany, because of the French Scopitone (jukebox) and the Italian Cinebox/Coilorama Video-jukebox machin ...

With Or Without You
"With or Without You" is a song by Irish rock band U2. It is the third track on their fifth studio album, ''The Joshua Tree'' (1987), and was released as the album's lead single on 16 March 1987. The song was the group's most successful single at the time, becoming their first number-one hit in both the United States and Canada by topping the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for three weeks and the ''RPM'' national singles chart for one week, with a further three weeks at number two. "With or Without You" features sustained guitar parts played by guitarist the Edge with a prototype of the Infinite Guitar, along with vocals by lead singer Bono and a bassline by bassist Adam Clayton. The song originated from a demo recorded in late 1985 that the group continued to work on throughout ''The Joshua Tree'' sessions. Ostensibly a troubled love song, the track's lyrics were inspired by Bono's conflicting feelings about the lives he led as a musician and domestic man. Critics praised the song u ...
