Silvano Raggio Garibaldi
Silvano Raggio Garibaldi (born 27 April 1989) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Sestri Levante. Born in Chiavari, he has represented Italy at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 levels. Club career Raggio Garibaldi made his Serie A debut on 14 April 2008 in a 3–0 home win for his side against Torino. He spent the 2008–09 season on loan to Serie B side Pisa. He then spent three consecutive seasons on loan, first to Sorrento of the Lega Pro Prima Divisione and then for two consecutive seasons to Gubbio (the first in Lega Pro Prima Divisione, the second in Serie B). In July 2012 he was reacquired by his hometown club Virtus Entella, where he had already been a youth player. His stint with the Chiavari-based club was already marred by injuries, as he struggled to gain a regular first-team place. On 3 November 2018, he signed with Serie D club Como. Chiavari
Chiavari (; lij, Ciävai ) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, in Italy. It has about 28,000 inhabitants. It is situated near the river Entella. History Pre-Roman and Roman Era A pre-Roman necropolis, which dates from the 8th to 7th century BC, has been uncovered in the area where Chiavari is located now. The Serie C () is the third-highest division in the Italian football league system after the Serie B and Serie A. The Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico (Lega Pro) is the governing body that runs the Serie C. The unification of the Lega Pro Prima Divisione and the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione as Lega Pro Divisione Unica (often also abbreviated as ''Lega Pro'') in 2014 reintroduced the format of the original Serie C that existed between 1935 and 1978 (before the split into Serie C1 and Serie C2). The Serie D () is the top level of semi-professional football in the country. The fourth tier of the Italian league system, the competition sits beneath the third professional league, Serie C. It is administered by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and is organized by the Roman ''Comitato Interregionale'' (Interregional Committee), a "league in the league" inside the LND. Lega Pro Prima Divisione
Lega Pro Prima Divisione was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Before the 1978–79 season there were only three leagues of professional football in Italy, the third being Serie C. In 1978, it was decided to split Serie C into Serie C1 and Serie C2. Serie C2, the fourth highest professional league in the Italian system, was also renamed in 2008 and was called Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
