Silvan Dillier
Silvan Dillier (born 3 August 1990) is a Swiss cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career Amateur career Dillier was born in Baden, Switzerland. In 2008, he was the Swiss national junior time trial champion, Under-23 road champion in 2009, and Under-23 time trial champion in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, he won a stage at the Tour de l'Avenir. In the 2013 Tour of Alberta, he won stage 2 while riding with as a stagiaire. This prompted BMC to sign him to a contract for the 2014 cycling season. The Men's team time trial of the 2017 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 17 September 2017 in Bergen, Norway. It was the 33rd edition of the championship, and the 6th since its reintroduction for trade teams in 2012. Peter Sagan (; born 26 January 1990) is a Slovak professional road bicycle racer who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Jelle Wallays (born 11 May 1989) is a Belgian road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Jelle Wallays is the brother and nephew of racing cyclists Jens Wallays and Luc Wallays. He was coached by his uncle in his early racing career and competed in his first race at the age of 14. The start of his first year as a professional in 2011 was marred by a knee injury, however a few weeks after returning to competition he took the best result of his season at the Belgian National Road Race Championships, where he finished third behind Philippe Gilbert and Gianni Meersman. A winner of the Paris–Tours Espoirs in 2010, Wallays won the 2014 Paris–Tours having been in a breakaway that went in the opening kilometres of the race, making him the only rider to win the under-23 and elite men's editions of Paris–Tours. 2018 Paris–Roubaix
The 2018 Paris–Roubaix was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 8 April 2018 in France. It was the 116th edition of the Paris–Roubaix and the fifteenth event of the 2018 UCI World Tour. For the first time since Bernard Hinault in 1981, the race was won by the incumbent world champion, Peter Sagan (). Sagan attacked the main group of riders, on sector 12 of pavé between Auchy-lez-Orchies and Bersée, catching the head of the race not long after. The 2018 Strade Bianche was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 3 March 2018 in Italy. It was the twelfth edition of the Strade Bianche and the fifth event of the 2018 UCI World Tour. Tiesj Benoot () took his first professional victory, after attacking from a chasing group to catch leaders Romain Bardet () and Wout van Aert () before dropping them in the final sector of dirt roads. Benoot soloed to victory by 39 seconds ahead of Bardet, who dropped van Aert in the final kilometre; van Aert, a three-time world elite cyclo-cross champion, ultimately completed the podium a further 19 seconds in arrears. The 2013 Tour of Alberta is the inaugural edition of the Tour of Alberta stage race. The inaugural event is included on the UCI America Tour, with a UCI classification of 2.1. As such, the race was only open to teams on the UCI Pro Tour, UCI Professional Continental and UCI Continental circuits.
