Silkeborg IF
Silkeborg Idrætsforening, (; commonly known as Silkeborg IF or SIF in short) is a professional football club based in Silkeborg, Denmark. The club was founded in 1917, reached the highest level of Danish football in 1987, and afterwards became one of the most successful football clubs in Denmark. They won the 1993–94 Danish Superliga, finished 3rd in 1994–95, 2000–01, and 2021–22, 2nd in 1997–98, and won the Danish Cup in 2001. Silkeborg has participated in Europe several times, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1996. History Founded in 1917, the football section of Silkeborg IF played in the top ranks of Jutland until a short visit in the third division in 1962. Danish Superliga
The Danish Superliga ( da, Superligaen, ) is the current Danish football championship tournament, and administered by the Danish Football Association. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated. History Founded in 1991, the Danish Superliga replaced the Danish 1st Division as the highest league of football in Denmark. From the start in 1991, 10 teams were participating. The opening Superliga season was played during the spring of 1991, with the ten teams playing each other twice for the championship title. JYSK Park
JYSK park is a football stadium in Silkeborg, Denmark. The stadium is home to Silkeborg IF and has capacity for 10,000 spectators. The construction of JYSK Park began in 2015 and was completed in the summer of 2017. It was opened on July 31, 2017 for a match between Silkeborg IF and AGF, where the home team won 2–1 in front of 9,411 fans. Silkeborg IF’s Gustaf Nilsson became the first goal scorer in the stadium in a 2–1 win over AGF. The stadium is located in Søhøjlandet next to the JYSK arena. The construction of the stadium was a collaboration between Silkeborg IF ownership and Silkeborg Municipality, with an estimated cost of 130 Million kroner. Odense Boldklub
Odense Boldklub (; also known as Odense BK or the more commonly used OB) is a Danish professional football club based in the city Odense. The club has won three Danish championships and five Danish Cup trophies. OB play in the Danish Superliga and their home field is Nature Energy Park. OB's clubhouse is located in Ådalen near Odense River. History Early history OB were founded on 12 July 1887 as ''Odense Cricketklub'', with cricket the only sport. Steven Lustü
Steven Lustü (born 13 April 1971) is a Danish former football player. He played as a central defender. He is currently the head coach of Viborg FF U17. From 2000 to 2005, Steven Lustü played nine games for the Danish national team. Biography Steven Lustü started his senior career with Næstved BK in the 1991–92 Superliga championship. In 1993, he moved on to Superliga club Herfølge BK, with whom he won the 2000 Danish Superliga championship. He made his debut for the Danish national team under manager Morten Olsen, in an August 2000 match against the Faroe Islands. He went on to play for Superliga rivals AB, but left the club after a single year. He moved abroad to play for Norwegian club FC Lyn in 2002. Henrik Pedersen (born 10 June 1975) is a retired Danish footballer who played as a striker for Silkeborg IF, Bolton Wanderers and Hull City. He played three games for the Danish national team. Nicolai Wael (born 10 May 1972) is a Danish football manager. He was most recently the manager of Ringkøbing IF. In April 2013 it was announced that he would replace Thomas Thomasberg as manager of FC Fredericia form the beginning of the 2013–14 season.
