The Silicon Valley Strikers are an American professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that compete in Minor League Cricket (MiLC). The team is based in Silicon Valley, California. It was formed in 2020 as part of 24 original teams to compete in Minor League Cricket. The franchise is owned by Stanford Strikers LLC. The team's home ground is Morgan Hills Outdoor Sports Complex, located in Morgan Hill, California. Pranay Suri was named as captain for the 2023 Minor league season, replacing Unmukt Chand. The current leading run-scorer is Unmukt Chand, with the highest wicket-taker being Pranay Suri. Minor League Cricket (branded as the Toyota Minor League Cricket Championship presented by Sling TV for sponsorship reasons, and sometimes shortened to MiLC) is an American Twenty20 cricket developmental league for Major League Cricket which completed its first season in 2021, after it was delayed from a mid-to-late 2020 start due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It consists of 26 teams from four regions. The league began its regional draft process in late-August 2020, and a series of exhibition games in September 2020. The draft for the league began on June 4, 2021. Narsingh Deonarine (born 16 August 1983) is a Guyanese cricketer, who has played for the West Indies. Domestic and franchise career He is a left-handed batsman who bowls a right-arm off break. The 2022 Minor League Cricket season (branded as the 2022 Toyota Minor League Cricket championship presented by Sunoco for sponsorship reasons and sometimes shortened to 2022 MiLC) will be the second season of Minor League Cricket, established by USA Cricket (USAC) and Major League Cricket (MLC) in 2019. 2021 Minor League Cricket Season Final
The 2021 Minor League Cricket final was a Twenty20 cricket match played on 3 October 2021, at Church Street Park, Morrisville between the New Jersey Stallions and the Silicon Valley Strikers to determine the winner of the 2021 Minor League Cricket season of Minor League Cricket. Road to the final During the group stage of the 2021 Minor League Cricket season (MiLC) each team played 14-16 matches, two against each of the other side of its group and its neighboring group (i.e. Southern and Eastern, Central and Western). All matches took place in one of 27 venues chosen to be played in that season. The format for the group stage was a round-robin. That meant all teams would face each other at least twice.
