Sigrun Vågeng
Sigrun Elisabeth Vågeng (born 29 October 1950) is a Norwegian public sector official. From 2015 to 2020 she was director of the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration. She took her education at the University of Oslo in 1975, graduating as cand.mag., and took an MBA degree at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in 2001. The September 18, 2015 she became Director of Labour and Social Welfare, the head of the Administration of Norwegian Labour and Welfare (NAV) after Joakim Lystad. Previously she was director of the Norwegian Association (KS). She is the leader of several organizations of employers and director of the National Institute for Consumer Research. She worked as chief staff officer at Grand Hotel, Oslo from 1980, and in 1990 she became director of the employers' association ''Norsk Hotell- og Restaurantforbund'', a forerunner of the Norwegian Hospitality Association. Arvid Weber Skjærpe (born 9 October 1947) is a Norwegian journalist and director. Career Weber Skjærpe was born in Stavanger, where he was a member of the Young Liberals of Norway in the 1960s. Skjærpe later graduated with the cand.polit. degree in political science at the University of Oslo. He also taught political science and sociology at the University of Oslo and was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper Universitas from 1971 to 1972. Skjærpe worked as journalist for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation in 11 years, before becoming cultural director for Stavanger Municipality in 1985. Controversy arose when he stated that Oslo did not deserve to host the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest, claiming it had "neglected the culture". Oslo Airport ( no, Oslo lufthavn; ), alternatively referred to as Oslo Gardermoen Airport or simply Gardermoen, is the international airport serving Oslo, Norway, the capital and most populous city in the country. A hub for Flyr, Norse Atlantic Airways, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Scandinavian Airlines and Widerøe, it connects to 26 domestic and 158 international destinations. The airport is located northeast of Oslo, at Gardermoen at the border of municipalities Nannestad and Ullensaker, in Viken county. Norwegian Chamber Orchestra
Det Norske Kammerorkester or The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra (established in 1977) is a chamber orchestra based in Oslo. Biography The orchestra was founded by the violinist Bjarne Fiskum who got the idea for a summer course for young string talents summer 1975. Since its foundation the orchestra has recorded some 20 albums and been on numerous tours in Norway, Europe, Asia and United States. The orchestra has since 1995 held Oslo Vinternattsfestival each year. With a total of six times Spellemannprisen, including This years Spellemann in 1988, the orchestra is one of the most successful artists regardless of genre.
