"Signes" is a promotional single by the French R&B singer Nâdiya, featured on her 2004 studio album ''16/9''. The song was written by Thierry Gronfier, Mehdy Boussaïd, and Sindbad Ioualalen and produced by Thierry Gronfier. It was only released digitally Music video The music video starts in a desert, where a poor Nâdiya repeatedly falls on the sand, due to the drought, searching for water. Then, some clips are show where burglars enter a city in the desert and raiding the locals there. At the first chorus part, Nadiya is shown dancing in the desert, at night, richly dressed. When the second verse starts, Nâdiya wears another dress (a yellow one) and many jewels in a sort of colloseum. Again clips are shown of burglars attacking local people and still in the desert, Nâdiya passes away. At the second chorus, Nâdiya is brought to a village while still unconscious. Signes, Var
Signes (; oc, Sinha) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Industrialist Paul Ricard was mayor of Signes from 1972 to 1980. Jean-Mathieu Michel became mayor in 1983, and served until he was run over in August 2019 after confronting a driver whom he accused of illegally dumping rubble. The Circuit Paul Ricard () is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit has hosted the FIA Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from to , and every year from to as well as from to . History First years (1970–1990) Opened on 19 April 1970, the circuit's innovative facilities made it one of the safest motor racing circuits in the world at the time of its opening. The circuit had three track layout permutations, a large industrial park and an airstrip. The combination of modern facilities, mild winter weather and an airstrip made it popular amongst racing teams for car testing during the annual winter off-season.
