Production was handled by Barry Adams, Byrd, Colin Wolfe, Franklin "Livin' Proof" Crum, Gavin "Pretty Boy" Marchand, Melvin Coleman, Organized Noize, Scarface, Studio Ton, Ty Fyffe and Pimp C. Southern hip hop, also known as Southern rap, South Coast hip hop, or dirty south, is a blanket term for a regional genre of American hip hop music that emerged in the Southern United States, especially in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Memphis, and Miami—five cities which constitute the "Southern Network" in rap music. UGK Albums
UGK (short for Underground Kingz) was an American hip hop duo from Port Arthur, Texas, formed in 1987, by Chad "Pimp C" Butler and Bernard "Bun B" Freeman. They released their first major-label album, ''Too Hard to Swallow'', in 1992, followed by several other albums charting on the ''Billboard'' 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, including the self-titled ''Underground Kingz'' album, which contained their single "International Players Anthem (I Choose You)" and debuted at number one on the ''Billboard'' 200, in August 2007. Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966), better known by the stage name Too Short (stylized as Too $hort), is an American rapper and record producer. He became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the late 1980s, with lyrics often based on pimping and promiscuity, but also drug culture and street survival. Gregory Fernard Hutchison (born August 4, 1967), known as Big Hutch and Cold 187um, is an American rapper and producer, and leader of the rap group Above the Law. He currently records for his self-founded label. Biography Hutchison is the nephew of late R&B singer Willie Hutch. Above the Law signed to Ruthless Records in late 1989, releasing their debut album, ''Livin' Like Hustlers'', in 1990. George Edward Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is an American musician, singer, bandleader, and record producer.
