SideOneDummy Records EPs
SideOneDummy Records is an independent record label based in Los Angeles. It was founded in 1995 by Bill Armstrong and Joe Sib. The label began as a way for them to release music for their friends' bands. Thereafter SideOneDummy launched the careers of bands like The Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Title Fight and others. Since 1998, SideOneDummy Records has also released the annual Warped Tour compilation album, which features music by bands playing on the current year's tour. Their YouTube channel, which features artists in their current roster, has 90 thousand subscribers and 129,558,922 views (as of January 25, 2022). Joe Sib
Joe Sib, former frontman for the punk rock band Wax, as well as punk rock supergroup 22 Jacks, is the co-founder (along with Bill Armstrong) of SideOneDummy Records. Aside from working at the label, Sib is also active as a stand-up comic. He released his first comedy record, ''Joe Sib Nowhere Near the Top'', in April 2017. Pkew pkew pkew (stylized as PKEW PKEW PKEW) is a Canadian punk rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario. Pkew pkew pkew's self-titled debut album was released on June 10, 2016 on Royal Mountain Records. On June 21, 2017 Pkew pkew pkew signed with SideOneDummy Records, and re-issued their debut album. They released their sophomore effort in 2019. Broadway Calls
Broadway Calls is an American punk rock band from Rainier, Oregon. The band has released four records and toured the United States and Canada extensively and often. More recently the band has completed tours in Europe. Broadway Calls have toured with such bands as Alkaline Trio, The Gaslight Anthem, Rancid, The Bouncing Souls, and Bad Religion. The Beginning (2005–2006) Broadway Calls formed in the winter of 2005/2006, with Ty Vaughn (guitar and vocals), Matt Koenig (bass and vocals) Robert Baird (guitar) and Josh Baird (drums). The band was built on the solid foundation of Josh, Robert, and Ty's decade long history of making music together. Bedouin Soundclash is a Canadian band based in Toronto and consisting of vocalist and guitarist Jay Malinowski, bass player Eon Sinclair and drummer Chuck Treece. Their sound has been described as a combination of reggae and ska. Bedouin Soundclash was formed in 2001, and has released six studio albums, most recently in 2022. Avoid One Thing
Avoid One Thing is a punk band that started as a side project by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' bassist Joe Gittleman. The Boston-based group's first album, titled '' Avoid One Thing'', was released in 2002 on Side One Dummy Records. The album was written and recorded almost solely by Gittleman. Gittleman assembled a band with which to tour and play his music. Before the release of the band's next album in 2004, the band went through several lineup changes. John Lynch joined the band after Dave Karcich's death due to a sudden brain aneurysm. Later, Delano left and the band continued as a three-piece. The trio returned to the studio and released '' Chopstick Bridge'' on May 4, 2004. The album reflected the combined efforts of all three band members and sounds vastly different from their first in many respects; Amy Griffin and Gittleman even split lead vocals on a few tracks. Audra Mae
Audra Mae (born February 20, 1984) is an American singer and songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the great-great-niece of Judy Garland, and a great granddaughter of Garland's sister Jimmie. Since arriving in California in 2007, she has signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell, and sang Bob Dylan's " Forever Young" on the television series ''Sons of Anarchy''. Worriers (band)
Worriers are an American melodic punk band from Brooklyn, New York. The band’s music is centered on the songwriting of Lauren Denitzio, the former vocalist/guitarist of The Measure (SA). Primarily a solo project, Worriers has also featured a rotating line-up of both touring musicians and in-studio contributors. The live iteration of Worriers currently includes drummer Atom Willard, lead guitarist Frank Piegaro and bassist Allegra Anka. Alumni of the group includes Rachel Rubino, Audrey Zee Whitesides, Nick Psillas, John McLean, JP Flexner and Denitzio's ex-wife Lou Hanman, among others. John-Allison Weiss (born April 13, 1987) is a Los Angeles-based indie pop singer, songwriter, and performer. To date, they have released three full-length albums and several EPs. Their most recent LP, ''New Love'', was released on October 2, 2015, through SideOneDummy Records. Violent Soho were an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland originally under the name of "showroom". For the majority of the band's existence, the line-up was composed of Luke Boerdam (lead vocals, guitar), James Tidswell (guitar, backing vocals), Luke Henery (bass, backing vocals) and Michael Richards (drums, backing vocals). Timeshares (band)
Timeshares is an American rock band from Downstate New York. History Timeshares was formed by members of the Oneonta, New York, band The Knockdown. Their first release was a self-titled demo CD in 2009. They began touring the eastern half of the United States regularly in 2010. Kiss Of Death Records released a split 7-inch with Captain, We're Sinking on October 29, 2010, as Timeshares made their first appearance at The Fest in Gainesville, Florida. The debut full length, ''Bearable'' was co-released by Kiss Of Death Records and Kind Of Like Records on October 25, 2011.
